Neighbour Day started in June of 2014 to recognize the incredible outpouring of support and generosity of neighbours following the 2013 floods. Each year on the 3rd Saturday in June, we continue to celebrate one of the things that makes Calgary such a great city. 

Neighbour originally started as a way to invite groups of neighbours together for a BBQ or afternoon get together. The Calgary Legacy Community Association took this one step further. As a newer community in Legacy with many local and home based businesses, we have taken this as an opportunity to allow all our neighbours, our community to connect. 

On June 17th from 11am – 2pm we had food trucks, local businesses from nearby and entertainment and activities for the whole community as we got to show off what makes the community of Legacy so great and help to build a stronger community for all.
