Well Legacy…. Snow and cold weather will be upon us soon. That means Christmas is around the corner, and Legacy gets all lit up with nearly 1,000,000 lights.
I know what your thinking… yes that’s alot of lights. Don’t worry, they aren’t overly bright, but it certainly gives Legacy that feeling of being in the Christmas spirit. Those lights should all be up and running before end of the November, so if you see an area that is out, don’t fret. The Legacy Residents Association is working on getting them all up and running.
Speaking of Christmas Spirit, Light Up The Pond will be back on December 9th, 2023 from 5pm – 7pm. With Hot Chocolate, Treats, Food Trucks, Santa, Music and more. It’s something that shouldn’t be missed. We will be all set up in the South West corner of the Big Pond, and we can not wait to see you all!
Finally, if your interested we are looking for a number of volunteers for ongoing projects and board positions. Next year we will be having our Director of Events stepping down to spend more time with family. That means we need someone with experience in event planning to help with coordinating these crucial events for the community. As well programs advisors to help with executing low cost programs for youth and adults. (If you’re wondering, we do provide free registration to the volunteers in our program as well so it’s a win win!)
